The Giza pyramids are one of the seven wonders of the world. Be in Egypt and not see the pyramids? It’s not in my head! Although it is quite far from Marsa Alam to Cairo (about 750 kilometers), the trip to the pyramids lasts just over a day. In addition to the pyramids in Giza, you will also be able to see the exhibits at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, including the golden mask of Tutankhamun!Trip to Cairo by bus – version for small VIP groupsThe trip usually takes place by coach with a group of about 35 people, but the same program is also available in a private version for smaller groups – between 4 and 8 people, by a small bus . The price of the trip is then $85 per person . The VIP bus tour runs on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. The price of the VIP tour includes a bottle of water and a can of soda or a glass of juice in the restaurant during dinner.For a trip to Cairo from Marsa Alam, you will be picked up from the hotel where you are registered by car or bus (depending on the number of volunteers). The driver will take you to Hurghada, where you will change to another bus / coach, which will go to Cairo. About 200km before Cairo you will stop at the Zafarana inn, where you will be able to use the toilets, drink coffee or eat something.You arrive in Cairo around 8am. The first point of the trip is a visit to the Egyptian Museum, where there is, among others, over 1,700 objects from the Tomb of Tutankhamun, including the golden mask of the pharaoh.

After the Egyptian Museum, you go to lunch included in the price of the tour. Lunch is in a restaurant near the pyramids, in the form of a buffet. Drinks during dinner are charged extra.

After lunch, you will visit the Pyramids of Giza. The Great Pyramids, one of the seven wonders of the world, including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Middle Pyramid of Chephren and the Small Pyramid of Mykerinos, as well as the Sphinx.

In the meantime, willing people can take a cruise on the Nile. This attraction is an additional $10 per person. Tourists who do not use the cruise wait for the others on the bus. If you are in Cairo very early, while the Museum is still closed, the Nile cruise is the first stop of the tour.

After completing the entire program of the trip, it’s time to return. Around midnight you are in Hurghada where you transfer to a car that will take you to your hotel in Marsa Alam. You arrive around 2 or 3 in the morning.

The tour will take place in the company of a Polish-speaking guide.

The Cairo tour takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. We usually pick up from hotels in Marsa Alam the previous day between 21:00 and 23:00
